In cooperation with Hvidt Architects, we developed a system of interior vertical pivoting shutters for control of the daylight and acoustics for the Codan's auditorium in their corporate headquarters .   The system consists of 41 electrically Pivoting shutters that ensure silent and efficient adjustment of the daylight and the acoustics. The pivoting shutters are made of ash wood, perforated on one side, and with rubber tongues along the edges, ensuring total blackout when the louvers are closed.   The system is an integral element in the architecture of the room and the building....

NNE Head Office

We designed and produced the exterior vertical pivoting shutters for NNE's head office in Virum in collaboration with Over Byen Arkitekter.   The 15 motorized pivoting shutters provide solar and heat shading for the large windows of the reception area. The pivoting shutters measure 5.7 meters in height and have 55 centimeters wide slats. They are constructed as a sandwich structure with double frames of anodized aluminum enclosing zinc panels with a 33% perforation.   The drive system consists of electric motors and worm gears placed in the bottom rail and hidden in the facade cladding. Ice Cream Stall

Schønherr's design proposal for the modernization of Ribe's Cathedral Square included an ice cream stall.   The ice cream stall is equipped with two exterior motorized folding shutters. One side has a vertical folding shutter, the other a vertical folding shutter.   When in use, the two folding shutters serve as a solar shading solution. When not in use, they effectively close off the ice cream stall.   We designed, developed and produced the drive system for the two folding shutters....

Allies and Morrison studios

When Allies and Morrison designed and build their studio in London, we helped design and develop the interior vertical pivoting shutters.   The manually operated pivoting shutters are an essential element of the building's aesthetic and make it possible to control daylight intake to provide a soft and pleasant light inside the offices.   The pivoting shutters are made of aluminum and because they are painted in different colors on each side, they change the color tones of the offices when they are in use. Metropol

When KANT arkitekter was tasked with designing the expansion and refurbishment of Metropol University College, they chose to clad a substantial part of the new building in perforated corten steel.   We assisted KANT arkitekter with developing the 108 vertical folding shutters that are placed over the windows in the building to provide dynamic solar shading.   The motorized folding shutters are made of the same type of corten steel and have the same perforations as the fixed part of the cladding. Experimentarium

CEBRA architects designed the extensive extension and refurbishment of Experimentarium, the Danish Science and Technology Center in Tuborg Harbour, north of Copenhagen.   The new design includes several box-shaped structures that have been placed on the original building to create a dynamic expression. The facade cladding is made of brushed and anodized aluminum with perforated organic patterns.   We developed a mix of 76 three- and four-wing vertical folding shutters for the project. UN City

At the entrance to Copenhagen Harbour is the new distinctive, star-shaped UN headquarters in Denmark. 3XN Architects have designed UN City as an eight-pointed star to achieve an architectural expression that emphasizes UN’s essential values ​​and authority.   The white facades stand as a distinctive luminous contrast to the surrounding water. The window surfaces are covered with an envelope consisting of more than 1.400 vertical – 2.5 m tall – folding shutters clad in finely perforated aluminum. The folding shutters are in constant motion as the light moves around the buildings through the day. We developed and produced the drive stations for the folding shutters.   UN City has received the highest LEED certification, a LEED® Platinum certification....

Tivoli Hjørnet

Tivoli Corner is a landmark in Copenhagen. 3B Folehaven

The social housing association 3B Folehaven is situated at one of Copenhagen's most traffic-noise plagued main roads.   We designed the external noise reducing shutters to reduce the traffic noise in the apartments by 50%. Furthermore, the solution allows the residents to ventilate and sleep with an open window in their apartments without being bothered by loud traffic noise.
